Introduction

Dear Reader,

It is our pleasure to present to you Proceedings of the first edition of the International Conference on Information Technologies in Management, which took place in Warsaw, Poland, on November 26, 2015. The conference was organized by the Department of Faculty of Management and Technical Science of the Warsaw Management University in technical cooperation with:

• Masovia Chapter of the Polish Information Processing Society,
• IT in Management Section of the Polish Information Processing Society,
• Association for Computing Machinery – Łódź ACM Chapter.

The main purpose of the conference is to provide a forum for researchers and practitioners to present and discuss the current issues concerning application of information technologies in management. We envision also an opportunity, for the software companies, to demonstrate their solutions.

Best papers, presented at the conference, have been refereed by at least three referees and are included in this volume. We would like to thank all members of the Program Committee for their work in refereeing these papers, which resulted in their considerable improvement.

Looking forward to see you in November 2016, during the second edition of our conference.
